She is passionate about helping leaders, especially women, who are at a professional crossroads to pursue their own self-discovery, develop their natural talents, and thrive in what they are uniquely created to do. With a professional background that includes 20 years of leadership in multi-billion-dollar corporations, Juliet has presented her work to executives across different industries, including government, education, healthcare, ministry, and non-profit. Kelley Brown born and raised in Chicago, IL is a devoted wife of 22 years to Reverend Travis L. Brown, a mother, nana, therapist, mentor and leader in the community. Kelley serves as the State of Georgia’s Authority in the Office of Adult Mental Health at The Department of Behavioral Health & Development Disabilities (DBHDD). Currently operating as the Programmatic Manager for 26 - Assertive Community Treatment Teams (ACT), 10 - Community Support Teams (CST) and 14- Intensive Case Management (ICM) Services Unit across the State of Georgia. Kelley is a Global Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Anger Management Specialist and Self-care Advocate. She is an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor, under clinical supervision of Dr. Keisha Buchanan. She holds a Master’s in Education and Leadership from Stayer University and a Master’s in Counseling from Argosy University. She is a member of the License Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, (LPCAGA) Network. Kelley has over 25 years combined experience as a person-centered life coach, counselor, and educator. She has utilized her practical action strategies that focuses on wellness and self-care along with her counseling expertise in State Government, Faith Communities, Educational Settings, Residential Facilities, Community Outreach Initiatives and Private Practice Settings.

Reverend Dr. Libya BaaQar (Bay-car) is a native of Atlanta, GA. She currently serves as Executive Pastor at Trinity A.M.E. Church, Atlanta, GA. She is the Correspondence Secretary for the Women In Ministry organization of the Sixth Episcopal District of the AME Church. She received her ordination in May 2009 and was instrumental in developing the Women’s Ministry where she organized bible studies, workshops, and revivals for the women of her church. She also served as Assistant Director of Christian Education, instructor of her church’s New Members’ Institute, and teacher of their Church-wide Bible Study.

Shana Scott is a public health leader that has worked at the intersection of public health, law, community advocacy and policy for almost 20 years. Shana currently serves as the Vice Present of Health and Community Impact with the Atlanta Metro American Heart Association. Prior to the Association, she served as Director of Compliance for Barnes Healthcare Services and for over 5 years as the Deputy Director of the Office of Policy, Systems, and Environmental Change in the Chronic Disease Prevention Section at the Georgia Department of Public Health. In that role, Shana worked alongside state leaders, elected officials, health system leaders and department of public health directors across the State of Georgia to develop and implement sustainable outcome measures for Georgia’s citizens. Shana was also responsible for engaging internal and external partners on PSE changes and health systems transformation efforts for chronic disease prevention while overseeing over $10 million in federal and state awards. Outside of her professional experience, Shana sits on the board of directors for HealthMPowers and enjoys working with future public health leaders.

Panel Speaker: "Creating A New "Black Women's Code"
Dr. Angelica Geter serves as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business for the Black Women's Health Imperative. Dr. Geter leads FairWork™, the organization’s first evidence-based strategy to measure and eliminate barriers to healthy and fair workplaces. Dr. Geter, first-ever Chief Health Officer for the City of Atlanta, was appointed by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and led the Pandemic Coordination Team assembled in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a 15-year public health expert, Dr. Geter has coauthored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications on racial and gender disparities and her research has been used to advance national recommendations, programs, and interventions. Dr. Geter’s academic credentials include a DrPH in Health Behavior (University of Kentucky), an MPH in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education (Emory University), and postdoctoral training at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Morehouse School of Medicine.

Kesha is VP, Culture and Wellness with Habersham Medical Center. She is a graduate of Tulane University where she studied Sports Medicine and African Studies. After graduating, she relocated to South Africa to work and conduct research.
For over two decades, Kesha has worked exclusively in nonprofit. She holds master’s degrees in Public Administration from Troy University and Health Administration from LSU.
She is founder of Young Gents, Inc., a movement that is normalizing black excellence for boys through etiquette, golf, and cultural immersion.
Kesha is a marathon runner who enjoys yoga, hiking, and traveling with her husband of 22 years, and their two children.
